Those LOOK like lilacs!!! Do you HAVE lilacs in California???Oh - - - PLEASE send me some of their fragrance!!!!I LOVE them.
Oops. I forgot to say they were lilacs. I'm sure they were trucked in from somewhere - this variety doesn't grow in CA.Today, I moved them to my desk so that I could smell them while I worked.
I haven't yet received your shipment of the scent of lilac. Hehehehehehehe
Think back to a childhood spring. Then, move your face close to the computer screen and take a deep breath.
We had blackberries last week, too! But they weren't very flavorful yet. At least it was a nod in the right direction, though!
I thought your favorite were black raspberries. Did they have those?
I can't find black raspberries in CA. That's why I made such a big issue out of it last summer - rare fruit quest!Now, I find out that the Amish by Aunt Millie have them - and she didn't know it then!

I found this beautiful bouquet at Whole Foods yesterday. Also, blackberries and raspberries. And it's supposed to be warmer this weekend!
